Everyone loves my husband. That is how we got the house.
I’m not kidding.
Lawrenceville is one of those up and coming neighborhoods that’s really hip right now. We really wanted to buy, but we kept running into 2 problems.
1st problem…many of the rowhouses for sale have already been flipped and they’re going for $400,000.
Ummmmm, NO.
2nd problem…all the cheaper houses are picked up by investors who come in with cash and will take the home without any inspections.
So how did we get our little homestead???
We saw it the day it went on the market and that afternoon we put in our offer. We were up against 2 investors.
The ONLY reason we got picked over the investors was because the seller LOVED my husband and wanted to sell to a family.
How lucky did we get?! I knew snagging this guy was a smart move. 🙂
Courtney…..was just saying to Rich the other day that I miss seeing you. Now I have to settle for the television view of you! But today he forwarded me your blog so now I can keep up on any big events….like buying a home! Congratulations! Best wishes, Lucy Gazarik
Hello Lucy! So nice to get your message…I miss seeing you guys too. We’re excited about a house, but it’s a heck of a lot more work than I imagined. 🙂 Say hello to Rich for me!
I think you had a lot to do with it too.
Thanks Sonny 🙂
