It’s really, really hard.
We got a bunch of 2x4s and 2x12s and Mark rigged up a jig to rip the wood. (Note: For Christmas, get your husband a table saw)
After a lot of sawing & listening to Katy Perry’s “Darkhorse” (it’s like every 3rd song on the radio) Mark roughed in the window frame.
My husband is a perfectionist and so this task took an ENTIRE day. Once everything was framed up, Mark put the window in, opened it and the whole thing came crashing down on his hand.
During this reenactment and when the window first fell, Mark said a bunch of stuff I cannot put on this blog. But he regained his composure, fixed the window and now our house is whole again.
