I know you are jealous of my super sweet sock/shoe combo. What can I say…it takes skill to look semi-homeless. 🙂
I finished putting up the last bit of foam board insulation in our bedroom.
Measuring and cutting this stuff is not my favorite thing to do.
No matter how perfectly I measured and cut, I always had trouble getting it in. After a lot of “ughs” and “come on!!!” I finished. Mark was throwing around some of his own choice words in the hallway…
He is mudding and taping the drywall. And we will tell you that it is tedious and difficult.
A full report on that later because we are headed out to play Bocce, make pizza and drink wine with old friends!

So hey, I’ve been reading de the start and I’m really enjoying following your renovation. I’m also renovating a house in Lawrenceville right now. I decided to comment because I wanted to ask if the fireplace insert visible in this post was already there or is something you bought. We uncovered two fireplace when we took down plaster and we haven’t figured out what to do with them yet.
Anyway, keep up the good work. You and your husband are inspiring me to keep at it.
The fireplace insert was already there…we took down the mantel. We’re still unsure what we’re going to do with the 3 fireplaces we have in the house, but I’m sure I’ll post it here when we’re done. Thanks for reading!! Good luck with your renovation!
