Can you guess what’s behind it?
It’s my super handsome and fantastic husband, Mark.
If the over-the-top compliments of my spouse make you nauseous, I apologize. (I’m the cheerleader in this relationship.)
Those beautiful wooden doors we finally finished scraping and sanding are now stained.
We kind of had a conga line-rotation happening with these doors…staining one and varnishing another with polyurethane then letting them dry for two hours. While they dried, we stained and varnished another and so forth.
Mark and I can’t believe how BEAUTIFUL the doors turned out.
It took WAYYYYYY more work than we thought, but we both said if we saw a door like this in Restoration Hardware or West Elm we would gladly pay $300 for it.
We’re getting to the point in our renovation where we can really see our home coming together. We are THIS CLOSE to finishing the upstairs. It’s all the small stuff now like painting the trim work.
Guess what…I can add this to my list of “least favorite things to do.”
