This is the extent of our Christmas decorations…2 stockings that Mark hung from our hamper.

Aren’t they festive?!
Just because we aren’t winning any holiday decorating awards doesn’t mean we don’t have the Christmas spirit. In fact, I think we have MORE Christmas spirit this year than ever!
This season, we’re celebrating in the first home that we own TOGETHER. And even though we aren’t finished with the renovation, it’s becoming apparent that this JOURNEY has been the blessing all along.
We’ve developed new friendships, rekindled old ones and made A TON OF MEMORIES (like our temporary “ladder living”) while rehabbing this house from top to bottom.

In the process, my appreciation for my husband has grown by leaps and bounds as I watch him transform our home.

I’ve been praying for a Christmas miracle…that we’d wake up on Christmas morning and the house would be finished! I doubt that will happen, but as long as I wake up next to this guy I know we’ll be okay. 🙂
