Well, not really…but as soon as I saw this picture all I could think about was HUMP DAY! Woot woot!!

Mark said you could go on a “camel ride” on the beaches of Dubai. After he saw the camels, he showed his colleagues the Geico commercial that ran in the States…too funny!

My husband really had the trip of a lifetime. Granted, he worked like 14 hour days, but he did have a moment or two to take in the incredible city of Dubai.
image
The buildings and architecture blew him away.

Nothing is impossible in Dubai. In the desert, they have an indoor ski resort and an ice rink…it reminded Mark of the Consol Energy Center.
image
The opulence is unreal. While I was in Lawrenceville throwing back a Bud Light, Mark enjoyed a $20 beer at the world’s tallest building…complete with a lemon-infused hand towel for his refreshment.

Mark says Dubai is just as swanky and international (maybe more so) than New York City and Toronto. He took public transportation, went to night clubs and almost everyone spoke English.
image
He did manage to find “old Dubai” with some friends and bought me a beautiful silk pashmina.
image
I think I’m ready to join him on his next trip, yes?!
