You know what’s better than renovating and blogging and most things in general?
Being an aunt.
I’m spending the week at the beach in Stone Harbor with my sister, Kelly, and her baby girl, Lily.

Mama Kelly lets me help with the feedings and I get to play with her and rock her to sleep.
Lily is the tiniest little thing and yet she makes the LOUDEST noises…sometimes we’re not sure what end they come out of. 🙂
Getting the punkin to go to sleep is the biggest challenge and deserves to be celebrated with a glass of wine once it’s accomplished!

I say it all the time – being an Aunt is my favorite thing in the world. I see that you agree. I’m lucky enough to have 5 of them to spoil and basically revolve my world around. So much fun, enjoy every minute of it because my first is now 12 and is starting to choose his friends over me. It goes by SO fast!
I’m loving it!! And you’re right about it going by so fast…Liky has changed so much in just a few weeks!
Ok, so this is a comment on the Lily Blog – it brings back SO MANY WONDERFUL memories of when our Courtney arrived and this same joy and love enveloped us – my mom (Grandma Alice) would drive up to “smell the farts.’ I thought it was gross as first, but soon realized how freakin’ terrific it was. Was a blessing – God knows just what family needs, doesn’t he though? Love you all –
