Everyone has asked us if we are going to find out the sex of the baby.
We are not.
Mark and I are going to wait until the peanut comes out…I just think it will be the most wonderful/biggest/most incredible surprise that we will ever have!
I know a lot of people COULD NOT WAIT to find out what they’re having, but Mark and I are just so happy that the baby is in my belly that we don’t care what comes out…boy or girl…we’re just SO EXCITED! 🙂
We have a boy’s name and a girl’s name picked out, and since I’ve never been a big fan of all pink or all blue, decorating the nursery will be no problem.
You’ve seen our aesthetic with this house…we like simple, clean lines with a modern twist.
Hell…that little nugget will have no idea what the nursery looks like…nor will he/she care what kind of clothes they are in.
Not sure if that makes me a bad parent from the get go, but I am WAY more concerned about raising an empathetic, self-confident, fully-functioning human. THAT is my priority! 🙂

We didn’t find out if our second was a boy or a girl and it was so fun to have a surprise!! And I agree…the baby has no idea what the room looks like or what type of clothes he or she is wearing!! Good Luck with the rest of your pregnancy!!
Good for you guys! I like the surprise too!!
Good for you & your hubby! Love to see your generation still holding onto some ‘old’ fashion ideas! You’re a beautiful person, Courtney! We always make a positive comment when we see you reporting or filling in at the anchor desk! May you continue with a God blessed pregnancy & delivery!…and of course that Nursery! Lol!
Most wonderful/biggest/most incredible surprise is exactly right Courtney! I didn’t find out either! Had a boy….now 18 and 4 weeks in at Parris Island, SC boot camp readying to become a United States Marine. AND being WAY more concerned about raising an empathetic, self-confident, fully-functioning human. THAT is my priority!:) Is #1. Looking Good Courtney & Mark!
