Mark and I have been dad and mom for almost 3 weeks. Here is what I would tell people about being a first time parent…
The majority of my day is spent hoping Henry poops, examining his poop and then discussing his poop with Mark.
As a breastfeeding mom, I am a 24 hour Dairy Queen and I don’t care about wearing nice shirts…I also walked into Starbucks with a huge wet spot after feeding Henry in the car…
Can you say major leakage?!?! Hahaha!
I’m always late. No matter how early I start getting Hank ready, something happens. He poops or vomits or cries…or as was the case two weeks ago, my car battery died. I’m never on time anymore.
I like to fix my hair and put on makeup before I leave the house. Now, I can do it one-handed.
Hank peed on me. Like all over me. Like in my face. Lesson learned…need to cover that thing up when changing his diaper.
Our life is totally crazy, but we are LOVING every single second.
Mark and I laugh and laugh, and we kiss our little peanut and love on him like two smitten parents who are absolutely exhausted.
