First and foremost, it is WAY EASIER to renovate a house than get a newborn to sleep. Trust me.
Every night Mark and I try to rock Henry to sleep…as quickly and painlessly as possible.
A few nights ago, Mark was holding Hank and swinging him around and started to sing…
My husband apparently doesn’t know any lullabies and so he sang the theme song to the The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
HENRY LOVED IT!!
I chimed in about midway through and we sang that damn song over and over for 20 minutes.
Who would have thought the theme song to Will Smith’s old sitcom would soothe our baby?!?!
Hey…WHATEVER WORKS!!!

When my Now 15 year old son was an infant, he would bounce to the rhythm of “Addam’s Groove”, by M. C. Hammer. Kids like what they like. Merry Christmas!
Love the pic of the 3 of you! It is beautiful!
Thank you for your post! That was adorable. There is a Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme book out there. Perhaps a good investment for Mark and especially Hank!
