I wanted to wait until my new website was up to share our trip up to Seven Springs!
This is the second time we’ve partnered with GoLaurelHighlands, and we love going to the mountains because it’s only an hour from our house and there is SO MUCH to do! We started in Ligonier and had dinner at Carol and Dave’s Roadhouse. Is there anything better than a home cooked meal with a Moscow mule?! NO!
Ligonier’s Light Up night was next with a Santa visit and hot chocolate. Ligonier is such a quaint town and the crowd was smaller and more manageable with little kids. I’d definitely take Henry again! Seven Springs was next and can I just say…wow! I haven’t been to Seven Springs in years and it was so cozy and family friendly!
We did snow tubing and bowling. We hit the game room and ran throughout the lodge. Everyone was super nice about happy (LOUD) kids running around!
Dinner Saturday night was at Out of the Fire cafe. This place is SUCH A GEM. Mark and I ate here 7 years ago and were so happy to be back!
Henry tried to talk to all the other customers while Mark and I had some delicious red wine! I had the crabcakes and Mark had the beef short rib…they were TO DIE FOR! We finished the night with a stop at Overly’s Christmas farm.
It’s a huge Christmas village with so many things for kids to do and see. We couldn’t drag Henry away from their train set!
Another #BestWeekendEver in the books thanks to our friends in the Laurel Highlands. If you need any more specific suggestions, comment below and I’ll get back to you!
